Hey there! Nice post. Great descriptions of the facilities, amenities, food and stuff; especially about the latter, you immediately made me feel like I want to grab a bite and sample something from the repertoire of those world-class chefs you were talking about. A paragon for farmers? I agree; last year I did a VNR on shopping in BKK and Central World (paint still tacky) came out as the best and most innovative shopping centre in the region … and no, there was no renumeration from them! By comparison, Paragon is a loud zoo for non-spending low class tourists, and no, I don’t mean rural people …

Centara itself doesn't have a perfect reputation. All above the 6th floor @ Central World though has become an astonishing place. Way above Paragon which looks and feels cheapish in comparison. BangkokDan

Probably just as well, I heard the Central group were a bit mingy, but judging from your post it looks like they are making up for that in other ways.
