Small correction: It’s not the current policy that costs huge amount (albeit …) but it’s the previous one when the BOT was buying USD/selling THB to curb the appreciation of the THB.

The USD was free falling, the THB was going up … It was necessary to save the private exports by keeping the THB weak.
