I am particularly entertained by her assumption that she is able to talk for “most people.”

I find her “letters” charming, though, in their self-delusion and reliance on euphemisms. Reading them is like peeking through a peephole into the drawing room of a demoralized but devout denizen of the elite’s status quo. So far in everyday real life here I’ve not encountered anyone with views like Vongthip’s.
