Maybe your amazement has a good reason?

I agree, Thaksin's not the cause of all problems (read again slowly above).

However if you think a bit more, you'll agree that Samak and Chalerm etc. are still the same persons/problems/causes as before.

That's why we can't make any step forward.

But the current government still can do good. The big question though is, are they all working for the one man? I'm sure some are working hard for the country.

I hope more will join in and work hard for the country, and not hard for the man.

Again, I'm amazed at how so many people seem to think that all the problems in this country were caused by Thaksin and fail to see the reality beyond that. It's like they truly believe that the problems will magically disappear when he gets removed, and Thailand will magically get better if we return to the old way. These people are too obsessed with Thaksin and will use any means available to get rid of him, including another coup, no matter how disastrous things will turn out to be. We have seen that Thaksin was ousted successfully, and so what? Eighteen months later we got Samak and Chalerm.

Very nice article.

It seams Thaksin has hijacked Thailand since approximately 6 years and is the main cause of these current troubles in our beloved country.

In this country where people with good deeds and honest work are too often not rewarded.

I wish the courts really do their jobs now, and that the people trying to amending the constitution stop hiding their true intentions and stop the misuse of governmental privileges for the sake of own benefits.

The article explains very well what is going on in this country.
