Wanted: Ambassador To Thailand

The Dominion of Melchizedek D.O.M., with its nominal capital situated in the North Pacific Ocean above the Republic of the Marshall Islands, is looking for its Ambassador and/or Consuls General to Thailand.

D.O.M., with its center located on the main island of the Taongi Atoll with the geographic coordinates 14 80 N, 169 39 E, enjoys official recognition from United Nations member states.

Further D.O.M. possessions consist of territories in the West Antarctica as well as the islands of Clipperton, Karitane and Solkope in the North Pacific.

Citizens of the Dominion of Melchizedek, founded 1986, are granted a growing range of rights and privileges recognized by governments from around the world.

Citizens of D.O.M. have in the past been allowed to enter without first obtaining a visa countries such as Sri Lanka, Liechtenstein, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Canada as well as several Southern American and African countries.

Thailand and other nations furthermore wrote letters stating that the people of the Dominion of Melchizedek may apply for visa permits using their D.O.M. passports.

Due to its intended diplomatic expansion the Dominion of Melchizedek in 2007 appointed its Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary of State, the Minister of Commerce and a Consul General to Russia.

As the government of the Dominion of Melchizedek intends to further expand and improve its bilateral relations around the globe, it is looking to fill its diplomatic positions to Thailand.

D.O.M. already enjoys de jure and de facto recognition by governments worldwide, such as the Central African Republic, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Netherlands, the Philippines. The United Nations in 1990 recognized the Dominion’s aspiration to statehood; two U.S. courts recognized D.O.M.
