One could read Terwiel as a Sarit apologist, but I don’t read his Sarit lines as the usual revisionism that occurs when newer more black headlines take over.

Try to visualize the regional political realities back then in those years. As insulting as it may sound today, Sarit still was one of the more gentle military strongmen.

At the end it’s all based on context.
